National Taskforce on Information Technology and Software Development
National Task Force on IT and Software Development was set up by the Prime Minister's Office on May 22, 1998, under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission. This taskforce had a mandate to formulate the draft of a National Informatics Policy.
This Special Website was designed to make the evolution of the Policy transparent.
The Task Force has already submitted it reports and the website is no more active. However, this website is still kept for reference purpose.
